Court Hiring, cancellation, and refund policy
- COURT HIRING All our bookings are in hour block (i.e one hour or two hours) half hour bookings are not allowed. All our bookings can only start and finish at xx:00. There is no extension of time due to late attendance. Alpha Badminton Centre have the rights to change the court booking arrangement under any circumstances.
- LATE ATTENDANCE If the court hirer is not present within 15 minutes of the court booking start time the court will be forfeited
- ALL ONLINE CREDITS are to be used for online court bookings ONLY
- CANCELLATIONS If a booking is cancelled 48 hours or more prior to the court hiring hour, the client will be entitled to a refund. If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the court hiring hour, the client will not be entitled to a refund.
- CUSTOMER DID'T COME If the customer failed to attend without informing our staff or cancelled online, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
- CREDIT REFUND, in any case, if you won't be using our facility anymore, you can request a refund by contacting us via email on info@alphabadminton.com.au. A full refund might not be approved on the bases of the amount of credit recharge. All credit bonus will be deducted automatically and will not be refunded under any circumstances. Our management team will assess your booking history and calculate the refund amount appropriately. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks. Any credits past the period of 24 months will NOT be refundable, however customers are still able to use the credits for their reservations.
Terms and Conditions of entry
- Centre management reserves the right to refuse entry
- Persons gaining unauthorised access to the facility may be liable for prosecution. Unauthorised entry includes but is not limited to: sharing passes, or entry by emergency exits. Unauthorised entry represents theft, trespass and breach of WH & S regulations.
- Any authorised commercial transactions without the consent of centre management are prohibited. Transaction parties will be requested to leave the Centre, referred to the appropriate authorities and legal action will be undertaken.
- This facility is monitored by closed-circuit (CCTV) at all times.
- Appropriate attire to be worn at all times-shirts must stay on.
- Non-marking closed-in sports shoes must be worn at all times for all activities in the stadium. Boots or black soled shoes are not permitted on the badminton courts.
- No food and drinks (water excepted)are to be consumed on badminton courts except in designated eating areas.
- No alcohol is permitted in the facility. Any person found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the premises.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the stadium.
- All personal belongings left at owners’ risk, the Management accept no responsibilities for property stolen or damaged.
- The use, possession, supply or trade of illegal or performance enhancing drugs or ASADA banned substances at the Centre is prohibited.
- All personnel is forbidden to use the Centre equipment to access, store or transmit pornographic material of any kind or engage in any illegal or offensive activity.
- The use of cameras and/or any recording device including mobile telephones with cameras is not permitted in the Centre without management consent, and must not be used in change rooms & toilets. Centre staff may from time to time use recording devices in the centre. Alpha Badminton Centre reserves the right to use these photographs/images/recordings for commercial purposes without payment.
- Any personnel caught stealing will have their booking credits/ made payment without refund, will not be allowed back on the promises, and will be referred to the appropriate authorities.
- Abuse of, or damage to any property or equipment will not be tolerated and offenders maybe asked to leave the premises and membership terminated. Members must pay for any loss or damage caused by them or their guests.
- All facility users must at all times respect other Alpha Badminton Centre players, guests and staff and must not engage in conduct that disturbs, detracts or impairs any other person’s experience. Offensive language, threatening, intimidating or violent behaviour or harassment of any form is prohibited. Offenders will be asked to leave the premises.
- Alpha Badminton Centre members and their guests are to follow the reasonable directions of centre’s staff at all times.
- Our price list, which is available at reception and on our website, forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Members must monitor their own physical condition at all times and exercise to a level that is appropriate given member knowledge of their health and any medical advice obtained.
